I strongly recommend this restaurant due to its luxurious setting and scrumptious food. Not only is the food delicious, it is also very decorative. The staff here is also very friendly and helpful.

Not many here on a frozen, frigid January moonless night. Those who ventured out were not disappointed. Imaginatively done soups, sushi and sashimi. My deep fried lobster roll was DEVINE. The tuna appetizer was a meld of different taste sensations. Our party of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A table full of millennial men and one boomer mal seemed equally pleased judging by them lingering well past the meal in jovial spirits. Service was good. The food does all the speaking here. Compliments to the chef.

It was average at best. We ordered what we thought were 5 distinct rolls but each one really tasted the same. I might have been put off by the extremely strong smell of men's cologne. But each roll was just meh. I didn't care for the flashing daikon radish garnish either. That was just a little weird. Although the flashing multicolored ceiling is pretty, so is the little water wall.

I LOVE this place! The absolute BEST sushi in town! The ambiance is lovely yet you can come casual and not worry about it. The staff is friendly and always checks to make sure you have everything you need. The place is immaculate- all the way from the entry, the dining area, sushi bar and restrooms! I am always impressed when a place is kept clean. It makes me feel better about how the kitchen and prep area must be as well. Now the food... I cannot say enough good things about the food. It is fresh, delicious, creatively presented, beautiful and so, so yummy! I typically get to go for lunch which allows me to take advantage of the awesome lunch special where I get 3 sushi rolls for $11 AND miso soup AND a house salad! I am either stuffed by the time I leave here or I am taking some of it with me for later! The Coconut Curry soup is WONDERFUL... the Spicy Tom Yum Seafood soup is SPICY and I love it! The seaweed salad is my favorite too... I always look forward to the Blue Fin... go in, become a regular like my husband and myself! You won't regret it!

In town on business and saw the good reviews on here. Wow, this place definitely deserved the accolades! Spicy tuna dumplings were amazing. The pink lady, tiger and spicy girl rolls were all unbelievably good. Some of the best sushi I've had. If you're in the area and want some sushi, this is the place to go.

Lousy. The fish did not taste fresh. The waitress was bored and lacked a customer service orientation to put it mildly. The sushi chef had a great attitude and was great - however, he could not overcome the "old fish" flavor.

I need to get my phone app fixed so the Check-in's work more often. Good, solid lunch spot. Can't review them as a "dinner location" never been. But tasty and filling, and a definite solid value for the price. Most gravitate to the sushi deal, but don't ignore the box specials, especially the salmon. It was done right. Service is attentive without being cloying.

Absolutely the best sushi I ever had! It was fresh and delicious. Good service and it was also fast. I will definitely be visiting there again.

Wonderful food! Service was excellent! Decor is very nice as well! Easy to miss though if you are driving down route 1 (located near Mile High Steak house) so spread the word. We went here before going to see a late movie. Had never noticed the restaurant before. Very nice decor - not the normal Asian restaurant stuff. Server came up to us and was nice, not rushed, and willing to explain and/or offer suggestions. He even let us know you can order rolls with soy paper instead of seaweed for any rolls that aren't deep fried. We had chicken satay and edamame to begin (yummy). Some tuna nigiri, green hill roll (special with tempura lobster) and crazy tuna roll. All were delicious! And we made it to the movie on time. PS they are BYOB.

Really? I am not impressed. And I am not easy to impress, so you may want to take that into account, but my late lunch on an EMPTY Saturday at 2:30 PM was just OK. I had the sushi/sashimi combo (served with a california roll) and 1 piece of ikura. The tuna sashimi was not as fresh as it should be. Tamago is frozen Rice was hard. Absolutely unimpressed. Sushi Nami in Paoli or Azie in Media are better (not to mention Doma and Zama in Center City).

Visited on Memorial Day, as it was one of very few restaurants open, and we love sushi. The reviews looked pretty good for Blue Fin, so we sat down with open minds. We ordered Salad, Hot and Sour Soup, and Tom Yum seafood soup to start. The salads were great- very bring dressing, fresh lettuce. Maybe just a little watery. The soups didn't fare so well, the hot and sour had a little too much hot, not a good balance between the two. The Tom Yum, again was a little hot (not much, and I love spicy food) but that spice stayed on your palate through a cup of tea and into the Nigiri course. I ordered the Tri-Color Sushi, which is 9 pcs. Nigiri and their house roll, the Blue Fin roll. It seemed to be the house special, so I thought it was a safe bet. The Himachi was fresh with a clean smell and taste, but the Salmon seemed a day or two past its prime. The Tuna was ok, but not tremendously flavorful. The size of fish v. rice was good, and the value seemed good as well. ($24 for 9pcs and special roll). The Blue Fin roll, however, was terrible. (See pic) I honestly have no idea what was in the roll as there was so much sauce on it the flavor was simply mayo with a side of mayo, some mayo next to that, and eel sauce. Every dish I saw the chef making involved an insane amount of 'squirt bottle work' with different shades of sauces. (I say shades, because they all tasted the same). Why anyone needs to hide the flavor of good fish under gobs of mayo is beyond me. Was the fish a few days old? Was it even really fish? We'll probably never know because there is only a slim chance we will return, maybe next Memorial Day when nothing is open.

Just came here while shopping nearby because the reviews looked good. Was so pleased. I just got a regular shrimp tempura roll and yellowtail roll. They were both great. The tempura had a great eel sauce on it. My sister in law got the rich man roll and loved it. My husband got the lion king roll and was equally pleased.

Sushi rolls are good - but service is awful. Last two visits, understaffed and unaccommodating. Waited just under an hour and a half for four sushi rolls, server did not come up to table once to apologize or offer anything - not even a refill on the soda they charge by the can. Will not be back and would not recommend - plenty other sushi houses in the area to try.

The wife and I got in really late to Glen Mills on a Friday. We found out that Inge close early in the town. Blue Fin was open so we tried it out. They had only a few patrons left when we got there and we closed the place up. Even though we were last, nobody rushed us at any point! So the service was top notch. For the food... We had a few appetizers and some rolls. We had spicy edamame... Awesome... Rock shrimp... Awesome. I know the wife wanted to go to pf changs and get chicken lettuce wraps. I overruled and chose Blue Fin. Amazingly enough... They had chicken lettuce wraps... And she liked them better than pf chang's! I couldn't believe it! They didn't taste as prefabricated as pf changs... Again awesome ! The rolls were great too... And it's BYOB! Overall ... Awesome! Will definitely return if we are in town!

This was our second time visiting Blue Fin. The first time I would have given a 4 star rating. It was early in the week so the place was not busy. The food was good, and so was the service. We liked it enough to make a return visit when we had guests in town. The second visit was not as positive as the first. While the food was still good, the service was not at the same level. Our sushi sat on the counter waiting for pick up for a while before the server brought it to us. Then we waited for a long time before the entrees came out. I would use the weekend as the reason for slow service, but the place was less than half full when we arrived. Not sure if we will return any time soon.

I added this place to my bookmarks months ago because of all the high ratings. Today I went there for the first time; it was around 3pm. The place is located in a small strip mall on the corner of Baltimore Pike. As I walked in, the overwhelming smell of either chlorinated water or seafood that was going bad was a little much. I was the only customer there and sat at the sushi bar. The staff was nice. There were 2 guys working on my order; Pink Lady and Rich Man roll. One of the guys behind the sushi bar was making small talk with me, telling me they had lobster and about their other items they were getting during the week and to bring my friends next time. The plating was very nice; very pretty. For some reason the rolls were served on 2 different plates and at the sushi bar, there really wasn't room for both plates in front of me. The Rich Man Roll (spicy crunchy salmon, avocado inside, fresh salmon on top with spicy mango sauce and tobiko) wasn't too bad but nothing close to great. The Pink Lady (shrimp tempura, lobster meat salad, mango inside wrap with soy paper, top with salmon with house special sauce - from their menu) was awful. I don't know what tasted like the rubber sole of a shoe but I couldn't finish the rest. Also their ginger was old or something, almost dried out. Have you ever had a bite of something and thought, "this is what food poising tastes like?" That's what came to mind when eating the Pink Lady roll. Both rolls were almost room temperature. I like my rolls, cold and fresh. Also they didn't have low-sodium soy sauce. They are getting 2 stars instead of 1 only because the place was clean (a little run down in some areas) and the staff was nice. I've eaten at a bunch of sushi places in the tri-state area and I will not be coming here again.

This place has the best sushi I've ever had! I wasn't really a fun of raw sushi ( I preferred tempura) but when I tried their sushi, I quickly changed my mind! The Twin rolls, philly roll, & spicy tuna roll are my favorite so far!

  • E R.

Not bad for arriving 15 min before close (thank you) Roll was pretty good. I like that each peice was not enormous. Sushi special was ok. Some prices seemed a little slimey and 2 prices had skin on them that was overly chewy.

I love sushi. I've tried a handful of sushi places since moving from CA to PA and most of them are lacking, a few were ok/passable, but BlueFin is as close to CA as I've been able to get. The fish is fresh, not slimy, cut properly, and the rolls don't have an overabundance of rice clogging them up. The rolls are innovative and packed with fish. Their spicy tuna is ground, the way I prefer, with spices as opposed to a big hunk of tuna slapped with sauce. They'll make mods to whatever you want, I often have them add avocado to their spicy tuna roll, YUM. Coupons for $5 or $10 off makes it very affordable, just print off their website. Online ordering also a huge plus. We always get it to go and they always have it ready in 15-20 minutes. Good sushi is expensive, you are paying for quality, if you want the lunch buffet special for $9.99, I'm sure there are lots of places people can eat...but this place is very affordable for what you get. Ecstatic that we found this place just a few minutes from our house, we go at least once a week. Must try for anyone who is looking for something other than a California roll and wants fresh fish. Only downside so far... their nigiri/sushi selection is limited, wish they'd get some additional options and add tamago!

I had a great experience here. Because it was a Monday night, there were only two other parties. It's a pretty small restaurant, so I didn't mind. The portions here are bigger than I expected. I ordered the seaweed salad ($5), and it could easily be shared among 4 people. It was pretty good, as good as seaweed salad could be. Fish was good quality. Not the freshest I've ever had, but there wasn't any fishiness. The sashimi was also much thicker than what I normally get at other restaurants. You could get a combination sashimi or sushi (15 pieces for either) for $22, which is a fantastic deal. I probably couldn't even finish an order just because the pieces are so large. I also ordered a hand roll (6 pieces) for $5, and the rice to fish ratio was like 1:2, which is such a nice surprise from the places who try to skimp you on fish and get you full on rice. The green tea ice cream is also pretty good (and you get 2 scoops for $2.50!), and it wasn't overly sweet, which I loved. The food was good, service was pretty speedy (again, not many parties to compete with), and everything was incredibly reasonable in pricing.

I ordered the shrimp and vegetable tempura which was excellent. The entre came with misu and salad which were fresh and tasty. Since there were other diners in our party we had the opportunity of sampling other dishes including yellow tail sashimi and orange beef, both very good. Prices quite reasonable and the service was good. Would recommend this place. They do not serve spirits, so BYOB.

I am updating because we have been here several times since my original. Still LOVE the food. Kudos to the chefs. They never disappoint. Spicy tuna appitizers are to die for. I would like to try other appitizers, but can't leave here without them. Hot and sour soup excellent. The corn adds to the complexity of the soup. We had the OMG ROLL. And the Playboy. Both excellent. My only complaint, they need more help. Both people working like crazy, but too many customers for two people. You have a great Resturant. Don t loose customers. Hire more help!'at lease, one more person. That all you need.

A series of excellent dinners at Blue Fin Sushi culminated last night in one of the best meals I've had in the last year. A chicken katsu appetizer preceded an Oysters Rockefeller maki from the large selection of imaginative and sometimes quirky rolls. This complemented an order of uni nigiri (sea urchin) and a special, lobster odori ($35, with the lobsters nearby in a tank, choose your own if you wish). This dish, lobster served live, is rarely seen in the U.S. The tail meat is served as sashimi over ice underlaid by glowing lights -- very visually impressive -- and the rest of the lobster is prepared to order. I requested soup, an alternative to serving the tailless lobster uncooked as it continues to fight while being eaten, which can make some guests squeamish. The soup option was masterfully prepared. The broth tasted sublime and the chef's skill kept the meat inside the remaining shell but still easily reachable. My guest had the hibachi steak which was traditionally prepared and all it should be. We brought a $15 bottle of Moselle to go with the meal, a good choice though a bit sweet. Sake would be better. We had a nice talk with the manager who's most attentive to expand the business and keep improving the food. The kitchen is already operating at a high level of excellence. I'm thinking that to grow as a business they need to get a liquor license (although BYOB is wonderful if one plans in advance, making a meal quite economical.) To improve in culinary terms, I'd recommend they source more from the nearby Chesapeake, perhaps becoming crab and bivalve specialists. They are already lobster masters, and even now, offer specials rarely seen outside NYC. Clearly the idea is to delight the customer and build a cadre of regulars, rather than just push out standard sushi. The whole staff is very professional, restrained yet welcoming in the true Japanese style. Unusually for a Japanese restaurant, Blue Fin has a selection of tempting ice cream based desserts plus tiramisu, cheesecake etc.. They are not made on site. Also of note, Blue Fin has begun serving real, freshly grated wasabi. BTW in a Japanese restaurant I'm there mostly for the food, but I acknowledge Blue Fin as very attractively decorated and quite uncrowded in all visits. There are about ten tables with six filled last night, a Saturday. Most of the other diners seemed to be youngish professionals. It's tough for a restaurant to stand out in this area because, surprisingly, there are a great many other top restaurants. But Blue Fin Sushi may be the best Japanese restaurant in the whole region, at least for cooked dishes. In that regard, it surpasses Center City Philadelphia's vaunted Morimoto, run by the eponymous Iron Chef. The bill for this outstanding meal at Blue Fin Sushi was $100 for two before tip.

Fresh, fast, and delicious. I love the lunch special. You can order from their website, too! I don't know if they were sitting too long or what, but I did try the spicy tuna dumplings and they seemed soggy and oily to me. I might have waited too long before getting there to pick up my order. But that will not stop me from coming back. For $11 and change you can get 3 rolls, soup, and salad. Can't beat that!! And it's FRESH! I have no idea what Chandra ate, but from the 2 times I've eaten take out, it's been very fresh!

Went here twice within the last week and had different experiences each time. The sushi here is the best in the Glenn Mills/Chadds Ford area, BUT the service is a bit questionable. The first time experience was a Sunday night. The restaurant was completely empty except for my party of three. The service was fine..as it should be when your server can focus their sole attention on just you. My second experience; which was on a "busy" Saturday night was completely different. I made a reservation for 8 at 8pm, but we weren't actually seated until 8:30. I understand that this is a small restaurant and there are unforseen circumstances that can occur, but I think that you should at least be a LITTLE bit prepared for a big party, especially if they had called ahead. It took them a few minutes to even give us menus when we were seated, but at that point, we were still waiting for a few friends to join, so it wasn't too noticeable. I think the worst part about the night was the wait on our sushi. We waited almost 90, yes NINTY minutes for six plates of sushi. That's just ridiculous. One sushi chef is not nearly enough for a weekend night, no matter how small the restaurant is. I've been to way busier sushi restaurants where the sushi has arrived in 1/4th of the time it took them. What's worse is that the server wasn't really checking on us or informing us on the status of our order. She didn't seem apologetic about the wait either. I really like the sushi at this place, but they really need to work on the little things that will keep their customers happy. I will definitely be back, but I will try my best not to come on a Friday or Saturday night. They are BYOB, so don't forget to grab a bottle of wine or some beer beforehand!

Have a nice decor and relaxing music. Good place to hang out and have a nice relaxing dinner. Sushi is great lots of choices and fresh fish. Love their monk fish liver and uni. Is BYOB so don't forget to bring some sake or wine with you. Kitchen got good appetizers. They got Asian fusion going on from Malaysian to Thai to Chinese . So bring your date or friends , you won't regret it.

It's still 5 stars, almost 5 months later. Blue Fin is my go to sushi spot when I'm in the area. I tried the classic "spicy tuna and cucumber roll" as well as the "eel avocado" ( both $4.50 each) and both are fresh and delicious. To start with I tried the baked oysters...pure awesomeness. My happy ending came with the Pink Lady Roll. Sooo good!! My daughter ended her meal with a green tea mochi. Normally the order comes with 3 mochi ($5) but she was so full that she only asked for one ($2) and our waiter accommodated. Her mochi was garnished with whipped cream and sprinkles. She's currently a happy camper. Did I mention that it's BYOB? Like I earlier stated, pure awesomeness.

We just know, the owner is changed. We used to like Ginger Sauce here and Salad a lot at this place, but now ginger sauce taste is different, too sweet for us. For Sushi, Roll is getting smaller, also we ordered Rock Shrimp, Thai Chicken Basil, portion size of food is seem smaller than used to be, hot tea is charged (used to be free). Just notice the change. Just FYI to regular customers.

Probably the best sushi in the delaware county area. The sushi tastes fresh and the prices are awesome. We usually do takeout but have also dined in a couple times. The restaurant is very small but quaint. The staff is friendly and the sushi chefs are very good. I always get the spicy tuna roll and the shrimp tempura roll. Never disappointed!

Excellent sushi. Very fresh! Great service. Vegetarian options were very good and sashimi was good too. They even offered tempura ice cream which was a great treat. Staff was nice & knowledgable. We didn't know, but it seems like it's a BYOB. Would recommend & would go back.

I've come here for lunch on Friday with coworkers several times and we are never disappointed. I usually get the sashimi lunch and my coworkers usually order 2 rolls (ie. philly + spicy tuna). We've tried other dishes like fried rice, bento boxes, etc. Everything I've had has been pretty good. I do have a Floridian friend who checked this place out and thought the food was terrible. I'm not sure if the quality of food varies day to day and between lunch and dinner.

This little sushi restaurant can be easily overlooked. Mainly because the restaurant that used to be there wasn't that great. This little whole in the wall type sushi restaurant definitely stands out. The prices are very reasonable. The lunch prices are a steal. The creativity and flavor of the sushi rolls do not compare to others sushi joints in the area. Do not leave this place without trying the Spicy Tuna Dumplings. Guarantee you have not tried anything like it before. Personally, the main dishes are above average but the sushi is the real standout at this lovely place. Whether you're looking to have a romantic date or simply enjoy a few rolls at the bar for a quick lunch, this is the place to go.

I got a take out bento box from Blue Fin for dinner. It was excellent! The ginger dressing for the salad was refreshing, the tempura was perfect, and the salmon teriyaki was fresh and very tasty. It was my first time visiting the restaurant but it won't be my last.

Excellent BYOB sushi place. A bit hard to locate in a small strip mall on Route 1 but worth the effort. They offer all the standard choices and plenty of unique items too. Awesome uni, aji, sweet shrimp, raw lobster, live scallop. Plentiful portions at reasonable prices.

We were in the neighborhood and my dining partner wanted sushi. We started with som gyoza and ordered four rolls. Sushi was good, as usual. However, service is getting a big overbearing. There were two waiters. Both would ask us the exact same question within 2 minutes of each other: Are you ready to order? How is your meal? Do you want dessert? It started to get almost creepy. It would not stop me from coming again but it made for a strange experience and was somewhat intrusive.

2nd time we ate here, 1st time dining in. I want to write a review b/c there was really no one there and this place is too good to not have the business. Granted it a Monday, and later. Anyway - the specialty and regular rolls are tremendous, I recommend the Pink Lady and Godzilla roll. It's much better service then the old place as well.

Great sushi, BYOB, great decor , large rolls, delicious and fresh fish, fair prices, and finally fantastic service... If you want a lesson in Sushi sit at the bar and talk to James. He was amazing and excited to educate about his trade ... Overall amazing experience... This is best place I have been to in Chester County

Based on the beautiful interior design of the restaurant, you'd think it to be a lot more expensive that it really is, but that wasn't the case at all. I ordered the salmon teriyaki lunch box. Fantastic! It came with spring rolls, goyza, white rice and of course the salmon. The garlic based sauce on the salmon was excellent, the spring rolls also stood out to me. The service was excellent but most of all I was really impressed by the atmosphere of the restaurant. I can't say enough about that. Awesome lighting and a very soothing, elegant feel to the entire place in general. I will definitely be back to Bluefin!

Being half Asian, I have dined at well over 50 different sushi/Japanese/Thai/Vietnamese/Korean...anything Asian restaurants in many different states-NY,PA,DE,ME,MA,TX,GA,MD,CA just to name some of the states. With that being said, I must say--Blue Fin is probably one of the top restaurants for sushi and Japanese cuisine that I have dined at. What makes this place unforgettable was my first time dining at the restaurant. My boyfriend was in the mood for sushi however I was in the mood for Vietnamese food. Initially, I had originally thought of the restaurant as the typical overpriced sushi/Japanese bistro. After looking on the menu, I was a lite doubtful and didn't really see any dishes that caught my eye. I asked the waitress if they made this one specific Vietnamese dish and she advised that they did not. I proceeded to order a spicy tuna sushi roll and the Thai basil chicken dish. About ten minutes later, the owner came out himself handing me the Vietnamese dish that was not on the menu. He personally made the dish himself and let me tell you--on top of excellent sushi, great dishes to choose from, as well as the staff going out of their way to making the diners feel comfortable, I will continue to praise Blue Fin. My boyfriend and I try to go to the restaurant once a month and each time that we dine there, we have tried different dishes. I have not been disappointed. This restaurant honestly deserves a true round of applause!

Came for a solo lunch today and to try this place out. I was craving sushi and my craving was fulfilled. Got one of their lunch specials - 5 pcs nigiri and a roll. Got all tuna for sushi and substituted the California roll for a spicy tuna roll...for an additional price, of course! But all good! Fish was excellent! I'll definitely be back to try more of their other rolls.

Delicious! Sushi was fresh, service was friendly. The manager came over to check on us. We also tried the tuna tartar which was also fantastic and the curry which was flavorful. Can't wait to go back and try the pad Thai.

So I have driven by this place so many times and we finally had a chance to stop in. Getting to it from Southbound Rt 1 requires some clever driving(We turned and drove behind State Farm's Offices and turned south on 202, then made the left onto 1) We walked in and were met with a charming well decorated space with a very nice selection of music that set the mood perfectly. We were very pleased to find the table set with simple but eligant wooden chopsticks and shoyu dishes. Also nice was having low sodium shoyu at the table. We examined the menu and decided to split an appitizer of the Sicy Tuna Dumplings. They arrived arranged on top of Guacamole of all things with a Thai Chili sauce, there was even a spoon so the guacamole and chili sauce could be placed on the dumpling before popping it into your mouth. The resulting mix of flavors was perfectly balanced.light yet pleasing. Next came the miso and salad, both precisely the right size. Then we had the Aquarium for two; which is a selection of sushi negri and sashimi. with a tuna maki and california maki. We don't really care for california rolls so we asked if we could get the Ginza maki (cooked salmon, onion and mayo) in it's place, it was a yummy thing. When it arrived it was beautifully arranged with amazing cuts of fish. Some of the best maguro (tuna)that I have seen in a while, outstanding saba (mackerel), the salmon was a bright clean color, along with two other types of white fish, all arranged on shredded diakon with shizo leaves. The sushi negri was also 5 kinds with each carefully arranged. The service was excellent without being invasive. My only ding is that the rice was slightly on the solid side for my taste, I prefer it fluffier with more of a hint of komezu (vinegar) but I am sure that it varies with each person. The final surprise was when the check came, the price for all of this was beyond reasonable once one sees the quality of the fish and the prep. We will be back.

The owner told me Bluefin had only been open for two months, so now is the best time to write reviews, especially to support the place and help its business grow. The sushi was the best I've had in any place in the area: the freshest fish, creative rolls, and artistic presentation. They kept the hot green tea coming. The service was very good (even if a bit overbearing). The restaurant is attractively appointed with Japanese motifs. The complimentary sake is what put it over the top. Access to the location isn't the most convenient (shopping center center on Rte 1); if you're going south on the divided road, you need to do a U'ey at the corner of Rte 1 and 202. I'll be making this place a regular stop.

We were sick right into the next day. We had heard good things, and had high hopes...unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. The restaurant smelled fishy, which should have been our first clue to leave. The appetizers were fine, but the sushi was horrible. The fish did not seem fresh, they lacked flavor, and the service left so much to be desired. Our waitress essentially hovered over us, watching our every move. Perhaps she was waiting to see if we were going to get sick. I don't recommend it. I won't go back. Eat there at your own risk.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is exceptional - especially the sushi. They have a great selection of appetizers and special rolls to choose from. The owner James is always on premise and goes out of his way to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests. I would highly recommend this spot for special occasions and weekend dinner dates. Looking forward to my next visit to Blue Fin.

Food is excellent, and presentation is very beautiful. Nice view from lots of tables over the sushi bar, and the work the sushi chefs are doing is exquisite! Good pricing for great food. Also plenty of choice on the menu between Japanese and Thai and great for vegetarians too. Would like to see the staff be a little less green concerning the menu ingredients. Their English is limited and asking about specifics on the menu is a bit of a challenge. We had a couple of allergens in our party, and that was problematic and took time to check out. Apart from that - delightful.

Blue Fin is excellent. I travel and eat sushi all over the country. This little spot is one of the best. I live locally and my wife has become a sushi lover through Blue Fin. You will find us here many Friday nights at the sushi bar. BYOB. Always fresh. More romantic atmosphere than another nearby comptetitor. They get busy sometimes now that rep is out. Cannot say enough.
